We can leave our car close to the Portmán Road, at the beguinning of the Llano del Beal´s road.
The walk start at the bfase of the Collado del Moro and the first thing we can across is a fence which avoids a car from entering to the path. Here we come into the GR-92, and the good conservation of the road lets us go up comfortably.
At this point, we start to see Satureja (Satureja obovata) bush from the family of the labitae, that flourishes en September and October, it is aromatic and it is used in the dressing of the olives, there are lots of it in the rocky areas of the different routes.
At the road´s first turn, we find sideritis pusilla fram the “Labitae” family which flourish from February to June.
On both sides of the path we can see Onopordum micropterum from the “Asteraceae” and cat´s, hoof (sedum sediforme) from the Crassulaceae.
Following the road, we will see the houses of Las Cenizas to our left, and, later on, we will come Los Cuartelillos to our right, which is on old military facility used for many years for the training of the soldiers that were doing the military service.
Portmán bay, full of sterile residues from the mineral wash-plant named Robert, the fishers´ harbour, today very far from the shore and “las casa baratas” close to the village Portman.
